Who came up with this? Cheap plastic snow molds? Wooden Pick-up sticks? Chances are, none of us are married to an 8 year old from 1962. That's just the beginning of the bad, bad suggestions in here. Nothing says Christmas like spending $20 on an ugly luggage tag. by spitefairy on Dec 02, 2009
I completely agree with spitefairy... who would want this junk? The very few things listed that may make a good gift are really expensive. Here is to 81 bad ideas! by nh53307 on Dec 02, 2009
A lot of the stuff is expensive, but I have to say, my nieces and nephew would LOVE the thumb wrestling masks. And my husband would love the ping-pong set....so some of us are in fact married to 8 yr olds-at heart :-) by rach71182 on Dec 02, 2009
I hope this is a joke- they actually suggest giving a woman $200 ugly wallpaper? A $180 thesaurus that is no better than the ones you can get at the drugstore for $3, but this one is a “must have” because it's stylish with a colored jacket?? After number 8 or so, I stopped looking at this list for good ideas, and kept browsing just to see what ridiculous suggestion would come up next. by silvernblack on Dec 02, 2009
My husband and I are both kids at heart but a lot of these suggestions are worthless for those people you can't find gifts for. Also known as, your new in-laws. I gave them all different vivaboxes last year and now I don't know what to do this year. Is it ok to do the same thing if they all liked them? by cmrdwl on Dec 02, 2009
I have to say I agree with spitefairy... some of them are sorta fun to laugh at, but mostly they're a bit cheesey, and I probably wouldn't end up buying any of them for the people I really needed ideas for! by lauraashleycooper@gmail.com on Dec 04, 2009
"Inspired by these great gift ideas?" Seriously? No, this list was so retarded. I wouldn't buy any of this crap. by jeska9387 on Dec 04, 2009
This looks like scrooge-central. Go find the real meaning of Christmas and stop being a Grinch about it. This list was very fun and entertaining..thank you! by jwopp07 on Dec 09, 2009
I love the cookie jar full of cookie cutters! Its a nice holiday themed gift that's not gloves or socks or something. Good find! by mrsdixon926 on Dec 16, 2009
i don't care for the car bank..... if it was for my husband, I'd need a big ol' hillbillied out pick up truck... and I can't think of anyone else in my family for this. And $48? No thanks by mrsdixon926 on Dec 16, 2009
I like these!! Colorful fun coasters are always an A+ in my book (even tho I don't own any. lol) by mrsdixon926 on Dec 16, 2009
I need the not so cheesy knife set! haha I NEVER know what knife to use for what... so I use steak knives for everything. haha by mrsdixon926 on Dec 16, 2009
I'm definitely on a budget this year and I've actually found that beauty prods make great, crowd-pleasing gifts. I normally dont really buy that kind of stuff, but my friends in particular seem to really love it. Great stocking stuffers too. If anyone needs inspiration I found this beauty list helpful (broken down by recipient then into Splurges and Steals). http://www.newlondonpharmacy.com/blog/show/56 by MillyNYC on Dec 16, 2009
This list is great! No, I wouldn't buy a lot of the things on it. But if I wanted a list of the same stuff I've already thought of, I'd search Google for gift ideas. Maybe the people complaining in the comments just don't have imagination. IDEAS, ladies. This list is to inspire IDEAS. :-D Have some fun with it! by brunoshort on Dec 16, 2009
These are great ideas! Great variety - for all price ranges, relationships to the one you're gifting, style of gift (main gift, stocking stuffer). I'm guessing spitefairy and nh53307 are the type of people we all dread buying gifts for as they can never be pleased. by alwayskristi on Dec 16, 2009
WOW! I just expanded the comments and saw there are WAY more negative rude ones than I realized. Good god people! What is wrong with you all?! I am SO glad none of you are on my gift list. I am shocked by peoples lack of imagination, appreciation and open mindedness (is that a word? haha). A lot of this stuff would be so much fun for the kid on your list or as a reminder of when someone was younger (my cousins and I played pick up sticks at our grandparents house all the time). What is wrong with simple ideas that bring a smile to someones face? And a lot of this would be perfect for someone with a particular interest. Seriously open your minds and if nothing else follow this old advice: "if you can't say anything nice DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL". by alwayskristi on Dec 16, 2009
All of a sudden I feel like the poorest of poor newlyweds. Who are they catering to here? by kazoinker on Dec 16, 2009
This is what I made for in-laws and my parents AND sister in-law (she is very sentimental) but I made mine through shutterfly- they always have great discounts (buy one get one 50% off) by jackittle on Dec 17, 2009
I love the "Smiley Face Pancake Griddle" I have to keep telling myself a "want" not a "need" They are sooo cute! by MrsSkenandore on Dec 20, 2009

Get over it; it is the thought that counts so getting him the bank and letting him know you are part of his dream is sweet. Wow someone sounds a little spoiled. Christmas giving is not about money it is about showing that you care. Some of the nest gifts don’t even have a monetary vale they are just something special passed along. by DRD on Dec 23, 2009
This is what I fabricated for ancestors and my parents AND sister in-law (she is actual sentimental) but I fabricated abundance through shutterfly- they consistently accept abundant discounts.. frases engracadas by nahshal on Feb 07, 2012
