I have a large ink spot on the carpet in my bedroom. Do you have any tips?

Rubbing alcohol works great at getting ink stains out of carpet. Using a spray bottle, spritz the alcohol onto the stain and then dab it with a cloth. Repeat this process until your stain has disappeared!

I do my carpets every 3 - 4 months because I have allergies; I have no problems with the carpet, no sign of wear or shrinkage or anything of the sort. (I actually bought a steam cleaner, well worth the money over time and makes it SO easy to do spot-cleaning, chairs, etc). It's amazing how much dirt is in there! I even do our mattress once in awhile. BUT one thing I have learned, the cleaner - even the non-allergenic cleaner - will ATTRACT dirt molecules (kinda makes sense, since that's what it's supposed to do) - so when any is left in the carpet, it "gets dirtier faster". I noticed that if I clean once, and then do a rinse with just hot water, my carpets not only stayed cleaner longer, but you feel pretty good seeing the dirt that still comes out in that rinse water that normally would "still" be in the carpet.
