Our engaged friends are copying our wedding -- same venue, same band, even one year to the day after our wedding! Many of the same guests will be there. Can I speak up?
A.
It’s 100 percent understandable that you’re annoyed with your friends for wedding-stalking you, but you’ll just look petty and create mucho awkwardness by piping up. Also, guests will either (a) not even notice or (b) think that this couple must admire your taste. Look on the bright side: You get to celebrate your first anniversary by, in a sense, reliving your wedding. Sneak off together during the reception to reminisce…and whisper to each other, “Ours was so much better.”
