How They Met: They were in a media ethics class at California State University. Though at first Tiffany wasn't interested, they had several chance run-ins and eventually started talking which led to a relationship.

Who Loves to Cook: He'll grill anything, she'll bake anything (other than that, they’re not big gourmet cooks). Trader Joe's is their staple store.
Splurge: They can't splurge! They’re on a pretty tight budget that includes a house payment and grad school (Tiffany is taking courses for her MBA).
Guilty Pleasures: Grey's Anatomy and all-you-can-eat sushi
Decorating & Renovating: Tiffany and Matt have a French country-inspired style and incorporate warm tones to give their space a homey feel. When they bought their house, it had been a rental for 20 years and nothing had been updated. They’re slowly fixing it up but still have some projects to complete.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Costa Rica. They like adventure and the outdoors. Australia, New Zealand, and Croatia are next on their list.
Anniversary Gift: One year Matt surprised Tiffany with a trip to Squaw Valley ski resort. They took the cable car ride to High Camp and had a three-course dinner at a fancy restaurant. Afterward they went ice-skating at the 9,000-foot elevation rink. There were just a few couples there, so it was very special.
Spend the Weekends: On weekends, Tiffany and Matt enjoy being outside, eating out, exercising, hanging out with friends and family (including entertaining visitors and traveling between their parents' homes in Southern and Northern California), and catching up on errands and housework.
On Weeknights They: Exercise if they’re not working too late, take the dog for a walk, cook dinner, relax, read, watch TV, and catch up on email and phone calls.
More About Tiffany & Matt: They've done the ride around Lake Tahoe twice (72 miles) and want to train for a triathlon before they have kids.
