Q.
Are bumps on a man's penis normal, or are they always something to worry about?
A.
Men can have all sorts of lumps and bumps -- some are simply harmless, fibrous-type tissue that's built up or fleshy bits under the surface that the skin doesn't sit smoothly over. Others are non-cancerous, mole-type growths. But sometimes it can be a sign of disease such as genital warts (HPV). If in doubt, always ask him to check with his doc. This is one of those scenarios where it's probably better to be safe than sorry.
