Stay At: Posada la Poza. The fact that it’s off the beaten path is what makes this seven-room inn overlooking the Pacific Ocean so ideal. The Must-dos: A sunset horseback ride at the Cuadra San Francisco Equestrian Center, or a picnic at the secluded cove at Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor).
Just to Say You Did It: Charter a boat for $80–120 for a half-day and reel in a 1,000-pound marlin -- Los Cabos is known as the sportfishing capital of the world -- then at night, head out to Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo for live music. cabowabo.com

DH and I went here on our honeymoon! It is fantastic!!! We made so many incredible memories and we're already planning our trip back. We stayed at the One and Only Palmilla and it was amazing! We had a package deal, but if you'd rather not go that all out on a short trip, it's very affordable per night. I'd probably eat off the resort most of the time, b/c the meals can be pricey. Luckily, ours were included in our package. Have fun!!!

One more thing... the flight was a piece of cake! We flew from Nashville to Houston (less than an hour) and then to Los Cabos (about 2.5 hours)! In less than 4 hours, we were in paradise! :)
