Just Moved: Alexis & Andrew

Find out how this fabulous duo found their dream home.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Setup: 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath, plus loft
Style: Contemporary
Square Footage: 2,118 sq. ft.
Price Paid: $172,200
The Deal: $81 per sq. ft.

How many places did you look at before finding the right one?
We looked at six new home communities.

How long were you looking?
We looked only on weekends for one month.

What was the worst part about house-hunting?
The worst part is being frustrated with not finding the perfect home at the right price.

What was the best part?
The best part was picking and choosing all the upgrades for our new home.

Was it hard to compromise and find a house you both loved?
We have the same taste and felt the same way about this house as soon as we walked through the door. We both loved it and agreed to buy it right away.

Do you have any advice for other Nesties who are house-hunting now?
Take your time and find the right house in the right neighborhood. Remember to take everything into consideration because it’s a big purchase. Make sure you have a real estate agent too.

What’s your favorite thing about your new home?
Our home has a unique open floor plan. Now my favorite thing to do is entertain guests because my floor plan lets people mingle in different rooms and not feel separated.

Show off your new digs! Be our next Just Moved couple.
