you can also make your own grocery bag holder with some left over fabric & elastic hair bands. Just sew a cylinder with the fabric and sew in the elastic hair bands on either end of the cylinder. Stuff your bags in and viola! much cheaper than $13 too!

ikea also had magnetic strips. They had brushed steel ones that we're $8 a piece. They were advertised as being the strip to hold spices, but we use ours for knives.

the grocery bag holders can be found at Dollarama (for those of us who are Canadian) or any good dollar store, for...you guessed it...$1! I have one of these and they make my pantry sooo much more organized!!

Love the plate racks. They help prevent chips too.

You can also use a plastic coffee cans to store the grocery bags. This works great since most of these holders that are advertised end up under the kitchen sink or on the door where they get wet. I use a bulk sized plastic coffee can from Costco or Sams and it works great. Coffee or oatmeal containers work great for organizing other things too.

From my experience, less is more. Like everyone else, I'm someone who likes having nice things around the house, but unfortunately they pile up, leaving you with nothing less than the feeling that you want to just burn everything. When I was moving to Australia I decided to get rid of a lot of things, and when I moved in the new house I was relieved to see that I finally had space.
