Q.
Whenever I wash my dark clothes, they come out with lint all over them. Is there anything I can do?
A.
You're in luck because this dilemma actually has a really simple solution: Wash and dry your towels, washcloths, and other fleecy fabrics separately. Often, these are the items that leave lint on darker clothes and fabrics.
Another tip: Fabric softener sheets can also help reduce lint. And check your pockets before washing. Tissues and napkins left in there will produce a whole lot of lint that can be deposited on your clothes.
And, of course, there's the obvious: Regular cleaning of your lint trap is not optional. Removing that fuzz will make a world of difference.
