Set foot in newlyweds Sherry and John Petersik’s recently renovated digs in Richmond, Virginia, and you’d think they paid a professional crew to transform it from a tired 50-year-old ranch into a brand-spanking-mod home. But you’d be wrong—this creative duo did it all themselves.
“We’re addicted to renovating!” says Sherry. “John and I like to get our hands dirty. Plus, we were on a budget, and doing it ourselves was the only option.”
