We have vaulted ceilings, and I never know what to do with the massive wall space we have in the kitchen, living room, and even our master bedroom.
There are two main factors to remember with vaulted ceilings -- you want to show them off , but you also want to feel comfy and cozy in the room. You don’t need to utilize the entire floor-to-ceiling space, but you do want to accentuate it. Use window treatments that start at top of the window or ceiling and hang to the floor, but bring in a low-hanging chandelier or another light fixture so there's a contrast of heights in the space. Artwork should always be hung at eye level, even on huge walls, so don’t worry about covering every inch.
