A Fabulous Frame

Adding an architectural detail creates a brand new style without you having to invest in a whole new window. First, measure your window. Next, find a piece of wood that will fit within the frame of this window. (Try a local hardware store or Home Depot).
Next, decide on the design you’d like for your window (ours was boho chic). Trace the design on your wood, cut the detail out using a jigsaw, and paint the wood in a coordinating color with your drapes. Go for a decorative pattern that gives you adequate light and privacy.
