"It's 3,000 square feet, with 4 bedrooms, 21/2 baths, and an outdoor garden," says Alysia.

What made you go eco?
“When we saw the place, it was a run-down shell... no windows, no doors, no electricity," says Alysia. "But the price was right, and it was an opportunity to renovate in an eco-friendly way, which was important to us.”

"We used Hannah Purdy Design and GreenStreet, Inc.

Do green-ovations cost more?
