It’s time to start thinking about sending holiday cards to friends and family this year. And, if you don’t have time to stage an all-out photo shoot (yeah, right!) in matching sweaters and mitts, then here’s an artsy alternative. The pop-up cards look great displayed on a mantel.

Each year since 1954, NYC’s Museum of Modern Art has commissioned a line of holiday cards designed by artists from around the world. Check out this year's lineup by designers Robert Sabuda, Aimee Hucek and John Pirman.
