How to Vacuum Seal

You don’t need fancy equipment to keep your food fresh.

Vacuum sealing can help you to avoid freezer burn, which means that your food lasts longer. Here’s an easy way to do it.

1. Put your food (like a bunch of chocolate chips) into a Ziploc bag.

2. Place the bag, with the top still unsealed, into a bowl of water. The water will suck out all of the extra air.

3. Zip the top up and place your air-free bag into the freezer until you’re ready to use it.
