How to Hold a Knife

Before you start dicing, chopping, and mincing, you'll need to get a grip. Here’s how.

1. To get your “pinch-grip” perfect, move your hand up the handle.

2. Place your index finger and thumb on opposite sides of the knife’s blade.

3. Wrap your fingers around the handle. Don’t be scared! You have more control this way.
