Q.
Some recipes call for a food processor. Should I make room in my apartment or improvise?
A.
It's cool to think outside the box when it comes to alternative methods for chopping, slicing or dicing. For instance, a blender can pinch-hit for many recipes calling for pureeing, but it can get tricky for the more complicated dishes. Be practical; you might not have the counter or cabinet space for a 14-cup food processor, but that doesn't mean you should entirely rule out putting a small 3-cup one on your wish list. Trust us: It can actually help make food prep a heck of a lot easier on you.
