Q.
How do I know if my old gas grill is still safe to use?
A.
Before you turn on the tank valve for the first time this season, inspect all of the tube connections, and make sure they're intact and corrosion-free. A quick way to check for a leak is to rub soapy water on the gas tube—if it starts bubbling, air is leaking out and the tube needs to be replaced. But if it has a rusty interior or is dangerously wobbly, it may be time to invest in a new grill. (Good thing we did all the research on the best new models for you, huh?)
