Cooking Q&A: Old Refrigerator?

Q.

We've got an old refrigerator that works. Should we still purchase a new one?

A.

If the fridge you inherited when you moved in is ancient but seems to do the job, it might still be worth replacing. Newer models run much more efficiently, and you'll see the difference in your energy bill (you can save up to $150 a year!).
