Potato gloves? Really? Is there something wrong with bare hands? Or a vegetable scrubber? And what in the world is a food loop? Why do I need one?

by LidaM on Nov 15, 2010

The food loop... its for when you are baking a turkey and you ususally use string to tie the wings and legs to the body ... instead you can use this loop do you can reuse it and not have to buy unuseful string every holiday!

Hmmm..more things you only need most of once a year - Not to mention most of us have so much extra kitchen space..for onion goggles???

by matt-brandy on Nov 22, 2010

haha you wanna know the cheap version of Onion Goggles? Swimming Goggles! I Look like an idiot but I never shed a tear!

by Izzy Shae on Nov 07, 2011

(Oh, a paintball mask also works instead of Onion goggles. Yey College Kitchen!)

by Izzy Shae on Nov 07, 2011

Run the knife under cold water and you'll skip the tears. No need to spend $10 on goggles you only use once in a while.

In O.Chem we learned that it's the smell of the onion juices when you are that close to them and cutting them that really causes the "crying" reflex to occur, so how do goggles help that?

by tacipher on Nov 09, 2011

Loving the goggles, food loop, and the potato gloves! Thanks for the ideas!
