The rain is finally over, and spring weather is on the way! To us, that means fresh fruit and ice-cold beverages, like this Fandango Sangria from 101 Sangria and Pitcher Drinks. Let's start the weekend early, shall we?
Makes 20 servings
Ingredients
2 bottles of Spanish red wine
1/4 cup sugar
1 red apple, cored and sliced
1 green apple, cored and sliced
1 orange, cut into wedges
1 peach, cored and sliced
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 mango, peeled and sliced
1 cinnamon stick
12 cloves (stuck into the citrus fruit or apples)
1 1/2 liters 7-Up
Preparation
Combine all the ingredients, except the 7-Up, in a large ceramic or glass container and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (best if overnight). Just prior to serving, add the 7-Up. Serve over ice. Garnish with additional fruit.
