Robert Mondavi has a wonderful collection of wines in the $9-11 range that are wonderful. Each type and grape is excellent (fume blanc is a favorite for white, and cabernet for red). by Mrs.CJ on Nov 11, 2008
My friend just had a wine tasting party last week. Each of six couples brought a bottle of wine that cost under $15. At the end of the night, we unveiled the winner: a bottle from Trader Joe's Charles Shaw (that's right, Two Buck Chuck). These inexpensive babies are definitely filled with taste and comparable to many wines. by esarri87 on Nov 11, 2008
My "go to" wine when I want something inexpensive and light is Barefoot's Pinot Grigio. Trader Joe's usually has it for under $6. Great, easy to drink wine. by happy_cat on Jan 25, 2009
Sutter Homes White Zinfadel- really cheap, one the sweeter side but just dry enough. by HeatherMO on Jan 26, 2009
if you like really sweet wine like we do go with ohio wines. and if your in the NE area you can get some really great wines from wolf creek, troutmans, breitenbach and lonz! our favorite is Haut Sauterns by Lonz only $6 and by far my favorite! by Buckskin_ridah on Jan 26, 2009
Martini & Rossi Asti White Label is awesome, and only about 13.00 a bottle for the smaller one. It's just the right balance of sweet and fruity, but not too dry. by breanna_wms on Jan 29, 2009
This is a really great tasting Champagne. It's one of my favorites! For a sweeter taste- try Domaine St. Michelle Blanc de Blance! by LoveANurse01 on Feb 09, 2009
Even if you don't like wine - you will LOVE Sutter Home's Moscato! It's got no bitterness or weird after taste to it and it's a great price! I'm not particularly a wine drinker due to the fact it seemed to dry up my mouth or just taste bad. I love this stuff! (Been known to polish off a bottle on my own!) by missymae6 on Feb 09, 2009
Oliver wines are the best cheap wines. They have a red, rose and a white along with some honeywines that I have yet to try. They are all under $10. If you happen to go to south dakota and want good wine... try Prairie Berry, they have a really good strawberry honeywine. by carissa_lin on Mar 02, 2009
I love the Soft Red Wine by Oliver. It taste like concord grapes and is only $6.99-$9.99 a bottle in most stores. by mfleming2977 on Apr 07, 2009
Blackstone Wines are really great! Every varietal is made to taste as it should. They have a great, young winemaker named Gary - He ROCKS!! Try the Merlot or Chardonnay. They even make a great gewurztraminer! by danicaroleo on Jun 25, 2009
I agree about Oliver. I think it is the highest quality I have ever encountered within that price range. by zaogirlo5 on Jun 26, 2009
There is a great reisling called sterling castle they also make a gewuztraminer too and it is fab for 12 dollars a bottle. Also bearfoot makes great wines for cheap by Weedenmj on Aug 20, 2009
My favorite is Yellowtail Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Merlot! Really good and under $15 for a big bottle!! by Knechts on Nov 05, 2009
I love blackstone and robert mondavi wine. Merlot to be particular. But I recently tried a red wine called Menage Trois. It is REALLY good. Only costs $8 at costco and around $10-11 at other stores. It's a mix of merlot, cabarnet, and zinfandel. It's definately worth a try. by Just_passing_by on Nov 17, 2009
My fav is called Relax reisling. Its in a great blue bottle with a screw cap! Its only about 9-10 bucks!! by roodaje09 on Dec 17, 2009
There is an apple wine called Sweet Pea that we found at World Market. It's light, crisp, sweet and smells divine! Runs about $10 - $12 a bottle. by snakey1219 on Jan 01, 2010
Mark West Pinot Noir is great! It was recommended by a co-worker and we just tried it last week. by jben460867 on Feb 07, 2010
