I am in love with Mondoro sparkling wine. It runs from $12-15 in our area. We served it at our wedding and all our guests thought we spent way more than we did. There is always a bottle or two at our house.

I was disappointed to see that Martini & Rossi Asti was not on the list. It's about $10-12 bottle. It's a sweeter sparkling wine and absolutely delicious. We actually served it at our wedding instead of champagne. It was a hit!

I have to agree with cpace, as we also Love Martini and Rossi Asti. It is what my husband and I drink at all big family dinners, as the rest of the family drinks wine. We also served it at our wedding and it went over well.

They really missed the mark here. It would be a great list if it was for dry sparkling wine. Every single one of them is a dry, but not everyone enjoys dry wines. If they want to please the masses, they are going to need more than dry wines.

I'm a fan of Ballatori with runs $8-$10 and is a little sweeter. I feel as though this is for those who are fans of a dry wine, for sure.

Another really fantastic (and shockingly cheap!) sparkling wine is Verdi Spumante Sparkling Wine. Here it costs around 6$ per bottle. I have given it to many "wine snobs" (myself included!), and everyone loves it. It also comes in a raspberry and peach version, which are so good during the summer.

Barefoot Bubbly is our favorite! It's more like $5.99 a bottle, so you can buy a lot to share with friends :) Also, they have several varietals...extra dry, pinot grigio, sweet moscato. Cheers!

Definitely agree with cpace and cfoley80 on the M&R Asti! We also served it at our wedding... and 3 months later, we're still getting phone calls asking about it. People are raving. It's just delicious!!

Our favorite sparkling wine is Toad Hollow Risque. It's very sweet and delicious. We served it at our wedding reception and I had to tell people where they could buy it. Definitely worth trying.

You might as well be drinking kool-aid if you like M&R Asti! Sparkling wine is suppose to be dry like champagne...that is why most that are listed here are dry! I have had Sigura Vidas and it is a great sparkling wine for $9.

My HANDS DOWN favorite sparkling for ANYTIME is Pax De Deux by Biltmore. It is DELICIOUS! It runs 15-20 dollars depending on where you get it!

Candoni Moscato has my vote. Try it @ $12.99 a bottle, bubbly, light, very good!! The bottle's label is beautiful and excellent for putting in a guest room after drinking the bubbly quaff inside for use as a flower vase.
