30 Days to Great Sex Tip 14: Intimacy Is Everything

If you and your man have practically given up on sex, the first step is to focus on reigniting intimacy.

Sometimes couples get too tired, too busy, or too distracted for sex. We get it, it's easier to blow off sex than it is must-do duties like taxes. If this sounds exactly like you and your honey, it’s okay to substitute sex (though we prefer the word supplement), with something else now and then. Try a sensual massage, or initiate some completely nonsexual touching. Give each other foot rubs, or run your fingers through each other’s hair. Look into each other’s eyes and whisper into one another's ear. Just hanging out in each other’s arms is a powerful way to reconnect. And if you can navigate those whispers into more tawdry territory, go for it. Who knows where dirty talk might lead!
