10 Ways to Surprise Your Spouse

1. Stuff a love note in their wallet or tuck it under a windshield wiper.

2. Change the desktop wallpaper to a cute photo of you two on your spouse's home computer.

3. Burn a CD with tunes from your dating days and include your first dance or fave song.

4. Look up the date of the next full moon and celebrate with a champagne toast.

5. Hate basketball, but your main squeeze is addicted? Despise musicals, but your partner can't get enough? Suck it up and get tickets -- the reward will be worth it.

6. Forget breakfast in bed. Have dinner in bed (and don't worry about the crumbs).

7. Go to bed early. No books, no BlackBerry, no remote. Note that we didn't say sleep.

8. Create a cocktail together and name it after yourselves.  Or, check out our Romantic Date Night Menu.

9. Go to a bookstore or music store together, then split up. Your mission: Buy something you know they'll love. Then wrap and exchange.

10. Spend a weekend apart (substitute your best pal, sister, or old college roommate) and plan to meet back at your place after 48 hours. Absence is an aphrodisiac.

#10 is my favorite! I go stay with my parents at least 2 days a week and the day I come back home is amazing!

I like to slip a card into my husband's ruck sack when he is headed out for a field exercise and tell his boss to make sure he goes into that pocket to find the card. Now that he is deployed, he knows he is going to get care packages regularly, usually with stuff he requested, but I like to add little treats, like he LOVES Dr. P, and I sent him a Dr. P chapstick "can". Our problem is that we will be celebrating our first wedding anni while he is deployed, so I am limited on how to celebrate with him!

alaskancoppertop: Back in the day i dated a marine and I knew he was going to deploy for a little bit so I went to Barne's and noble and got a leather bound journal and put the date in the top right corner and wrote as much as I could every day and was going to give it to him the day he left (but we ended up breaking up before he left grrr). I also had pictures of myself writing out by a stream (used a tripod and a remote) so he could see me writing. Also other random pictures and cut them smaller to fit within the journal and *key* laminated them (because lord knows the middle east is begging to destroy your creation. Double side sticky tape the pictures to the pages and write around the pictures. Get creative and doodle around too! Give him something to read as much as possible... something to remind him of you!

i love number one, it was fun to do while we were dating and everytime i saw a note, my heart would skip a beat. but just to twist it up a bit, instead of just leaving it lying around, snail mail it to him.

One time I decided to add an 'I love you' note to my boyfriend's calendar in his iPhone. I made it repeat every day. It would have been cuter if his calendar wasn't connected to his work calendar. Everyone at his work could see it, including his boss and CEO.

There is so much that you can get from this. You really need to work on this when you are married. The ideas are so good. Vibrators
