It's always important to get enough sleep, and that's as true as ever on the 1st. There's no point in starting out the new year in a state of exhaustion, so go ahead and sleep in. Then get up and get some exercise! If you take it slow but resist the temptation to turn sloth-like, you'll be rested up and ready to recommit to a permanent workout routine by the 3rd. You are in great shape, mentally, emotionally and physically, on the 4th, too. Don't forget that all this healthy stuff is cumulative, so the more you stick with it, the better off you'll be. Stick with it, on the 8th. Stop just thinking about trying out the softball team, and get practicing on the 9th. On the 13th, take your time: Stretch, breathe and stretch some more. There's no need to pull a muscle this early on in the year! You need to get balanced on the 23rd. Standing on one foot and trying to touch your nose to your toes is a good way to get a grip on problems at work and home. A problematic work assignment threatens your schedule on the 28th. Stick to your guns: You need your workout. On the 30th, wrap up the month with a really intense workout.
