Snore Wars

It’s hard to catch some ZZZs when your spouse sounds like a lawnmower. Follow these tactics for a sound (less) sleep.
If He Snores...
• Pop a decongestant or allergy pill before bed
• Prop your head on supportive pillows
• Wear nasal strips to keep the air flowing freely (Breathe Right, $13, DrugStore.com)
• Avoid heavy late-night meals and alcohol consumption, and quit smoking
• See a doctor to make sure constant snoring isn’t the sign of something serious
If She's Awake...
• Wear earplugs (Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs, $3 for two, DrugStore.com)
• Wake ‘em up—why should you be the only one awake?
• Gently roll your partner over onto his or her side (lying on the back usually results in more noise)
