"Why would we squeeze ourselves into a tiny apartment with one car and skyrocketing private school tuition when, for the same money, we could own a five-bedroom house, two cars, a backyard and the mall? Because we realized that we'd take less space and higher expenses in exchange for the chance to live in Brooklyn where we can spend more time together with other families like us, who thrive off of the culture of the city, ethnic diversity, beautiful public parks and public transportation. It's a different dream, but it works for us."
