Don't feel guilty about speaking up—after all, this is your precious weekend time! Simply say, "This might sound blasphemous, but lately we're kind of burned out on sports. But we'd still love to get together. Are you up for doing something else?" Look at it this way: If they decline, you have your weekends free, and if they don't, at least you won't be held hostage on the couch.
