Across the country, people are holding off on getting pregnant because of the recession
. As for Jack and me, the bottom line is that we don't have -- and can't afford -- health insurance
. We are actively working on changing that, but until we do, babies
will continue to be out of the question.
I find that there are a few schools of thought when it comes to starting a family. Those who say, "Just do it. You'll never really
be ready," and those who say, "Wait ’til you have the time, money, and resources to do it right."
