My Married Life: Feng Shui Your Sex Life

Shui your way to a sexier shag.

I dunno about you, but as someone who's been with the same guy for over 10 years, I'm always looking for ways to keep things fresh between the sheets. I'm well versed in the basics (buy sassy lingerie -- check; no BlackBerries or laptops in bed -- check), but when I read this Shelter Pop post on how to feng shui your sex life, I was intrigued. I'm not 100 percent sure I buy the whole feng shui concept, but I do firmly believe that people are affected by their spaces. So I'm totally down to give it a try.

Here's the part of the post that I found most interesting:

"Using the front door of your home as a reference point, the far right corner of your home represents relationships and is known as the 'Relationship Gua' in Feng Shui. Therefore, you need to keep this area intimate and inviting. A love seat illuminated with adjustable lighting is ideal for this special spot."

A few of my other favorite tips? Kicking family photos (read: that photo of you and your dad) out of the bedroom; springing for the softest, dreamiest sheets you can afford (done); and opting for cozy seating arrangements, like sofas and love seats over solitary chairs. The article also recommends kicking the TV out of the bedroom. As you may recall, I've written about this tip about a million times, but if you still haven't done it, now you have one more reason.

I'd write more, but I have to go move my laundry basket. How about you guys? What do you have in that far right corner of your home?
