I'm not going to get into the nuts and bolts of this latest Bundle.com graph that compares the spending of single people in NYC to that of their
married counterparts (cough, questionable addition, cough). But I will say I enjoyed reading about what other people thought about it on
THEAWL.com. Do yourself a fave and enjoy the comments. I'm kinda loving their readership. I'm also loving the summary of the data posted by editor Choire Sicha: "Bundle proves what we all know: married people are cheap and boring and should not be taken seriously or gone out with on a Friday night." Is it weird that none of that bothers me? Wait…don't answer that. Instead, for a more in-depth explanation of the data (and a much more rah-rah-marriage interpretation), I suggest checking it out at the
source. I know that Jack and I have saved by shacking up -- both in housing costs (no small concern in this state) and by cooking a lot more
meals at home together. But have you guys found other cool ways to save since getting hitched? Please share with the rest of the class.
