| Nah, not really. I mean sure, some people might think it's messed up that you're just assuming your guy will tag along, but men tend to let their spouses handle the social calendar (sorry, but it's true). Plus, if it were up to us, we'd spend Saturday nights on the sofa watching The Hangover for the sixth time. Although if you're going to respond on your husband's behalf, at least let him know what the plans are a few days in advance. | It's not a big deal unless it annoys him -- and it very well might. If you're constantly planning his weekends, he might start to feel like you have him on a schedule and he's not in control of his own life. I say it's better to be safe than sorry. It takes about five seconds to run the idea by him, and chances are, he'll be totally game to go. And this way, he'll go with a smile on his face because he won't feel like he's being "dragged" somewhere against his will. |
Okay,
now it's your turn: What do you think? Do you run all plans by your spouse? Or does he like it that you make the plans?
