| I'd bet that you're way more concerned about your weight than your guy is (he honestly might not even have noticed if it's just a few pounds). That being said, this is obviously an issue that's bugging you -- and making you feel less sexy than you should. So try this: Instead of worrying about what your husband thinks, be more concerned about your health (and not just calories). You can even invite your guy to get in on the action so that you're both breaking a sweat on a daily basis (exactly how? Well, I'll leave that to you). | Dear Weight Gain in Wisconsin: Has it ever occurred to you that you're just being a wee bit paranoid? I mean, would you feel differently about your husband if he packed on a few extra pounds? Didn't think so. The truth is, the person you should be pleasing here is yourself. If you aren't happy with your body, make a plan to start eating healthier and hitting the gym. Not into the treadmill? Sign up for a yoga class -- and make some new friends while you're at it. Working out and eating well will automatically make you feel better, and the sexier you feel around your husband, the more turned on he'll be. Besides, sex is a great form of cardio! |
Okay, so
your turn to weigh in (pun intended): If your spouse gained weight, would you still be attracted to him or her? Have you ever caught yourself asking your spouse, "Do I look fat?" What do you do to stay in shape together? We want to know!
