Sex Q&A: Is There Such a Thing as Having Too Much Sex?

Q.

The Nest Q&AIs there such a thing as having too much sex? My husband and I have sex at least once a day, sometimes more. We’ve been going at this pace for almost five years.

A.

Most couples find that after 6 to 12 months, things cool down, and sex becomes much less frequent -- so you are a couple in a million! There’s absolutely no need for you to worry that either or both of you will burn out. What’s important is that you feel you can be honest with each other and pipe up if you’re not in the mood. For example, if one of you is tired or stressed out, it’s important that the other understands sex may not be on the menu that night (and is cool with that). Otherwise, go ahead and enjoy!
