Place a Dollar Amount on Your Accomplishments

While keeping a log of your accomplishments is a huge step in making a case for a raise, so is quantifying the benefit, says von Tobel. Dollars make sense to employers: They’re more likely to give you a raise if you show them how much you’ve contributed and how valuable you are to the company in plain numbers.
