If you're like me, you probably haven't used your library card since Britney & Justin were an item. But that little plastic card could be saving you tons of cash. Think about how much you spend every month on stuff like Netflix, books, even your cable and Internet bill. A little scary huh?
Cut down on your entertainment costs by using your library card. You can rent DVDs (most libraries keep a surprisingly up-to-date catalog), check out books (c'mon how many times do you actually read anything after the first go around?), and do your Internet surfing there.
If you do most of your web browsing (ahem...I mean Nesting) at work and/or have an Internet plan on your wireless phone, your at-home Internet is probably a luxury you can live without.
Find a public library near you and start saving!
