How many homes did you look at before you chose this one?

“We ended up going to see about seven or eight homes before we settled on the model that fit our wants and needs most,” says Rachel.

What was the hardest part about finding your new home?

“There didn’t seem to be much difficulty in finding the home. It was just the anticipation of waiting for it to be built that was the hardest part -- having patience! We were ready to move in as soon as they broke ground.”

What was the best part?

“The best part was seeing it built from the ground up. We saw our vision come to life!”

Was it hard to compromise and find a home you both loved?

“Not really. We were in agreement on what would work best for us now and in the future as we grow into our new home.”

Do you have any advice for Nesties who are still looking for their first home?

“Seek out all of your options and be open to new things. You might be surprised at exactly what you end up loving about a certain place. Also, don’t settle. Find what you really like so that you can enjoy it for a long time.”

What’s your favorite thing about your new home? What's unique about it?

“Our favorite part of our new home is all the fun technology that we were able to have installed -- like our surround-sound system in the basement “theater” area and the speakers that we have all around the house so that we can play music while entertaining! Also, our handcrafted, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace certainly makes our home unique, and we look forward to enjoying it over the years. It’s beautiful!”
